Scottville Photo Album History Column Dave Petersen This week we will move on from our visit with the loggers who shared their stories of the camps and life in the woods and take a look at some of the great photos that the City of Scottville has shared of early business in the City of Scottville. These are some of the photos that Dave Hallberg gathered a few years back and we all benefit from his foresight in preserving these important glimpses of Scottville's past. If you are lost as to what to do for a family member at Christmas don't forget supplies that can be used to record and preserve your family history and memories, when we get those cold winters days that are coming up it's a perfect time to sit down with your kids and grandparents to preserve some old memories and make some new ones at the same time. Get those shoeboxes out of the closet and organize and preserve them and if you would like to see your family history featured in a Daily News history column please use the contact information at the end of the column.
